Long Live May 1 st: Fight for a world without borders!
Exploitation and super exploitation, oppressions, global warming and ecological disasters have forced
migrations and displacement of tens of millions of people and the work force only in the past few years and
have added millions to the property less in a world scale. This is the results of the working of an imperialists
system and its domination over the world, a world that 40 people hold as much wealth as half of the world
population. Supper exploitation, the trade of women especially under aged, child labour, kidnapping for
body parts and … are all part and parcels of such destitute situation forced by imperialists invasions and
wars in third world countries.
Invasion of Afghanistan by the US and their allies as well as Russian invasion and the Western imperialists
intervention in 80’s have not only destructed the country by the war but also created the religious
fundamentalists forces such as Daesh and Taliban and their wars that has made the lives of the people a
misery. The invasions and wars on Afghanistan has caused that millions of Afghan become homeless and
displaced internally, in the neighbouring countries and in other parts of the world. Afghanistan has become a
source of cheap labour force to the region (Iran and Pakistan- Persian Gulf’s Emirate) as well as to the
western countries.
On 1 st May this year the world is under the threat of more wars by the Imperialists powers in the Middle East
and other parts of the world. The imperialist’s powers in seeking their global interest and creating further
gap between rich and poor have virtually taken the lives of billions of people hostage through their
continued threats of wars with more devastating weapons. Their rapidly intensifying contradictions and
contentions have reached to a dangerous level, threatening each other and in fact the whole world with
gangster logics and the use of nuclear weapons. Middle East has become the focal points of such bloody
contention between major powers such as US, Britain, EU, and Russia. Bombing of Syria by the US, France
and Britain shows the potential of escalation of this contention.
The intervention of imperialist’s power as well as regional powers such as Iran, Turkey and Saudi Arabia in
Syria shows how the Syrian’s war has the potential to become the focus of the world contentions.
The Imperialist’s wars and the working of capitalists system as a whole have forced tens of millions of
people to migrate. Immigrants under constant threats of deportation are consciously kept in an almost
“illegal” position, making it easier to be super exploited, without any rights.
Immigrants internationally are inseparable part of the working class with a lot of direct knowledge and
experience of workings of this system and so are inseparable detachments of revolution worldwide.
This system has categorised and divided the oppressed and exploited on the basis of gender, nationality, skin
colour, religion and aliens.
It has been long due to put an end to all these discriminations and fights for a world without borders. The
right way to celebrate 1 st May is to join hands and fight for this historical mission.
