More explosions in Afghanistan, resuming the deportation of refugees from Germany
On 22nd June at 12 noon local time due to an explosion by a suicide bomber in Lashkargah a city in southern province of Helmand in Afghanistan at least 34 were killed and round 60 wounded.
In a matter of a month several suicide bombers has taken place by the religious fundamentalists in different parts of Afghanistan including Kabul the capital that has caused more than a thousand death and wounded. In one of these explosions on 31st May in the city center of Kabul hundreds were killed and wounded. This explosion took place near the German embassy. Germany temporary stopped the forced deportation of the refugees from Afghanistan. However after the latest explosion the German government has announced that would resume the forced deportation of Afghan refugees from 28th of June.
On 31st May Thousands of the progressive people, anti-fascists forces and human rights organization in Germany along with refugees protested against the forced deportation of Afghan refugees in 11 German cities. These protests illustrated the anger of the progressive people in Germany and their support and the solidarity for refugees. This might have been one of the reasons that compelled the German government to retreat temporarily and halt the forced deportation until further notice. However the German government in a sudden move recently announced that is resuming the forced deportation this time under the name of deporting the ‘criminals’.
However the German government is following its agenda. Our organization AWWB in an article that we published earlier this year in March “The inhumane plan of German’s government for refugees and stepping up the deportation of Afghan’ Iranian’ Iraqis and other Refugees from Germany” we exposed the policies and goals of the German government and in another article “the new approach and the deceptive policies of the German government against the refugees” tried to expose the dishonesties and deceptiveness of the German government against the refugees. Through those articles we called on refugees and other progressive people in Germany to unite and resist the inhuman and unfair policies of the German government against the refugees.
One of the main causes and sources of the present situation in Afghanistan as well as the wars and misery in other parts of the world including in the Middle East is the aggressions of the imperialists’ powers including the Germany. The interventions of these forces are the main reason for war, super exploitation, destructed and distorted economy and oppressions and the other illness of the society such as poverty, addiction and of course the refugees. The imperialists’ role in those regions has also given rise to the growth of Islamic fundamentalism. The fundamentalists are causing so much suffer for the people and want to pit the people against each other. In order to resolve the refugee ‘crisis’ the intervention and aggression of imperialists’ power in Afghanistan and other parts of the world must end.As we should unite and resist the imperialists’ wars and the religious fundamentalists, we must also expose and stand against the German policies of forced deportation of refugees.
