On the occasion of 1st May: Unite and fight against fascism, racism and the enmity with refugees
This year we celebrate May 1st, the international workers day at a time that the political and economic crisis and the greed of the dominant imperialist system have pushed the world to the most dangerous point. An important section of the lowest and most oppressed part of the working class as immigrant and refugee has been forced to abandon their homes and their work places. The wars that the world imperialists’ powers for their global interests have imposed on these countries have made the life for the most oppressed sections including the working class of these societies impossible. Those who have survived these brutal wars have refuge to other parts of their country or to a neighboring country only to be exploited intensely. Some who can, will take the risky path to the western countries. If they manage to get to the destination after so much hardship and abuse they will join the immigrant workers of these countries and sell their labour very cheap or will join the unemployed army that already exist.
But this is not the end. They will be despised that they are a burden on the tax payers and the social system of the destination country. They are labelled as illegal human to be deprived of any rights or facilities. Many will be deprived from the right to work so they will have to sell their labour even cheaper.
The truth is that these refugees are not a burden on these societies, they are not illegal people, they are not criminals. But they are an important part of the world working class who have been the victim of either the world imperialists’ wars or the economic policies of the world capitalism: globalisation. And now they have to present their labour in the world marked at a much cheaper price.
We also celebrate the May 1st this year at a time that fascism and racism and right extremist have gained much more strength. Donald Trump and his fascists’ gang has become the president of the most powerful country in the world and also the rightist are increasingly gaining strength in the European countries. In the Britain the rightist by relying on chauvinism and nationalism won the Brexit referendum. Anti-immigrants and enmity with refugees has become a feature of the extreme right as well as the main stream parties of the western countries in Australia, US, UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Denmark…
In all these cases the fascist forces and the extreme rights have been able to incite an important section of the workers of their own countries against immigrants and refugees, i.e. against another section of the world workers. These duplicities must be ended. The workers of the world must unite; the workers of the world can and must lead a radical revolution. In this fight they have nothing to lose by their chains; however they have a world to conquer. They will have a world in which no one can pit a section of workers against others, a world in which it is not possible to separate the workers and the people through borders.
What is crucial and necessary in the first step is to unite and fight against the fascism that is real danger to the humanity and is determined to divide the people and to take the world to a dangerous and destructive wars and is determined to destruct the planet. We must unite and loudly say NO! We refuse to accept fascists regime in the US or Europe or any other parts of the world.
Long Live May 1st
