Trump’s war on refugees and immigrants
Trump has launched a planned and orchestrated war against the refugees that goes well beyond the usual limitation and harassment that has existed in the western countries against the refugees. Evidences shows Trump is mobilising tens thousands of National Guard troops to round up undocumented immigrants. If that takes place it would be an unprecedented militarisation of the US immigration enforcement and indicates the vicious plans that the Trump and its fascist administration have for the refugees. The raids and arrest of refugees has already started.
Trump campaign against the refugees and introducing them as “terrorists”, “criminals”, “drug dealers” and “rapist” and blame them for unemployment, poverty and crime, is aimed to deceive the people and unite the some sections of the society around its fascistic program. He wants to manufacture some bases for his racist white supremacy ideology. These are all a practical version of the outlook that Trump/Pence and their gangs have introduced as “the US comes first” and “the new vision” that would lead the US imperialists. These are the preface and the beginning of reorganisation of the US imperialists on a fascist bases. In the case of continuation and consolidation of such a government there is a horrifying future that is waiting for the humanity. The danger would become even more when the fascists find their international alliance. Theresa May the UK Prime-Minister was the first western leader to meet Trump. She also invited Trump to visit the UK. This invitation has justifiably outraged millions of people in Britain and provoked the immediate protests in various forms in London and other cities in the UK. After the Brexit vote in the UK and the growing number of attacks on refugees and immigrants and the continued limitation of the government against the refugees it would greatly increase the likelihood of even a closer and stronger relation with the US under Trump. With such a situation the close relation of Theresa May and Donald Trump could lead to a horrendous situation for the people in the UK.
Given that Trump has already indicated that the Moslems in the US should be registered, it is a very serious warning to those who have not taken this naked fascism serious. However the protests of many millions against Trump also show there are many who have been alerted to the seriousness of the situation.
Trump first order and the second order against refugees have targeted the victims. He has at the same time launched a war against the immigrants from Mexico. Trump has targeted first of all the Moslems and Mexican refugees. But this can only be the start if succeeded, will be followed by attacking other sections of the society. His disgusting and sickening comments against women and the reputation of the racist and Christian fascist views of his team and cabinet members has rightly concerned the people in the US and around the world. Suppressing the oppositions and other sections of the people that might not be appropriate for their programme could go to the top of their agenda soon. We should not forget that Hitler and the Nazis in Germany did not start with the massacre of millions of Jews. He first started to change the laws and then supressing oppositions and communists and putting limitations on Jews. Then in a short time afterwards he used his power and military force and unleashed his thugs and created unimaginable crimes. The lesson of the recent past put a great responsibility on our shoulders.
The unified struggle in a world scale can prevent another historical disaster. We the refugees and immigrants who are fighting for a world without border, recognise and understand the critical situation of the present time and will fight full forcedly against Trump/Pence and their gangs and we believe this struggle is not separated from a struggle for a world without border and without oppression and exploitation. We are determined to continue our struggle and our protest against fascist regime of Trump and its international allies and by this way we express our solidarity with the people’s struggle in the US against fascism and the people in Britain against the close relation of the UK government with the Trump’s regime, against racism and discrimination. We call on all freedom fighters and all progressive and revolutionary forces and individual to take part in this struggle until victory.
